What we do

Institutions run on records, and most of them are still spread across spreadsheets

Ask a school office how many students owe fees this term and you will usually watch someone open three files to find out. Attendance lives in one register, marks in another, fees in a third, and nothing reconciles until somebody sits down and makes it reconcile by hand.

We are building an Education ERP that keeps all of it on one student record, so the answer to a parent's question takes one lookup instead of four. It is in pilot now with schools, colleges, universities, and coaching centres, and it is free for the first 50 institutions.

How we fund it

Client work pays for the product, and the product sharpens the work

Alongside the ERP we take on builds for other teams: web applications, Android and iOS apps, SaaS and cloud products, custom internal systems, and AI features inside existing products.

The two halves feed each other. Running our own product means we live with the decisions we make, so we are more careful about the ones we make for clients. Client work means we are not shipping a product on borrowed time.

The same people do both. Whoever scopes your project writes the code for it, and you talk to them directly rather than through an account manager who has not read it.

Our story

Divith Selvam started OneDot in 2024 with Krishneshwaran D and Dilan Melvin T, to build software properly and get paid for it

OneDot began in 2024 in Coimbatore. The three of us had seen enough projects handed over half-finished, undocumented, and impossible for the client to maintain, and wanted to run a team that did the opposite: scope in writing, test before shipping, and hand over something the client could actually keep.

Client work came first and still funds us. The Education ERP came out of it: enough institutions described the same tangle of registers and fee books that it was clearly worth building once, properly. You can follow what we are shipping on LinkedIn, or read about the pilot.
