These terms

These terms apply to this website, to the Education ERP pilot, and to any work OneDot Communications carries out for you, unless we sign a separate agreement that says otherwise. Where a signed agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Using this site

You may read this site and contact us through it. Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, or copy its content and present it as your own.

The Education ERP pilot

The pilot is free for the first 50 institutions. It is offered as-is while the product is being built, which means modules may be incomplete and behaviour may change between releases.

In exchange for the free term we ask for feedback on what is missing or broken. Either side can end the pilot at any time, and if you end it you may export your records first.

We will tell you what pricing looks like before the pilot ends. Nothing converts to a paid plan automatically.

Client work

Project work is scoped in writing before it starts, covering deliverables, timeline, and price. Changes to scope are agreed in writing and may change the timeline or the price.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you own the code we write for you once it is paid for. We keep ownership of general tools and libraries we built beforehand and reused.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that the pilot product will be free of defects, or that it will suit a purpose we have not discussed with you. Where the law allows, our liability for the free pilot is limited to putting the problem right or ending the pilot.
